My Christmas Cookie Plate

Every Year I make usually 2-3 different cookies. Tassies are my absolute staple for Christmas cookies, if I don't make anything else, I at least make Pecan Tassies!

Since I did not come up with these recipes on my own I will show you blog posts I follow that have my recipes! I love this recipe for Tassies because I like to add cinnamon and vanilla in mine also for extra flavor, sometimes even a tablespoon or two of maple syrup for richness. The key with tassies is not making the dough too thick so you get enough filling in each cookie. This recipe is the same that I do- except i use crushed pecans instead of walnuts.

Next I like to make Christmas toffee every year- I like to make it pretty by adding either curshed peppermint or pretty sprinkles on top. To make the recipe go car I cut it super small into bite sized pieces so people can try a piece of each cookie I make. Recipe Here- BEST Christmas Crack Recipe - I Heart Naptime

Lastly I like to make sugar cookies if the holiday season is not too busy. Sometimes I make them and sometimes I don't -it just depends! I love making them with very small cookie cutter shapes so the recipe goes really far and I don't have to make multiple batches. One batch does the trick. I really loved the design of the trees I did and snowmen so I thought I would share! I am referencing Sallys Baking Addiction sugar cookies because her recipes are always amazing.
